A New Era for Power Drive

Power Drive

The 2014-15 Power Drive season was the last in which OPPD and the Nebraska Public Power District ran the program, through which high school students design, build and compete with one-person electric vehicles.

But Power Drive remains alive and well. Several teams banded together to create a new corporate owner of the program.

The Electric Vehicle Energy Research Of Nebraska (EVERON) corporation was formed as a Nebraska nonprofit that will oversee Power Drive. All Power Drive information can be found on their website.
